Conviction Against Torture (CAT)

With only two weeks to prepare for a Merits Hearing before the Immigration court, our firm won our Client’s Immigration case based on Convention Against Torture. After providing substantial evidence of how our Client was tortured by Mongolian Police in a Mongolian Prison the Immigration Judge agreed that our client should be able to remain in the United States under the protection of Convention Against Torture. After being held in Immigration Custody for 6 months, the Client was released the morning after winning his case and was able to reunite with his wife and newborn baby.
